I feel like Ms. Neishai was God sent to me. With emotional support and spiritual support and her healing hands. It was much needed without her even knowing how alone I felt and unsupported I was feeling. She was truly a light in my dark tunnel and showed me to believe and love and to have peace. Not only within myself but for my unborn and my babies at home. Her calming soul placed no judgment in anyway. After 8 years of not pregnant, in a new city, and no family close by, I knew I would need a supportive birth and postpartum advocate.
Ms. Neisha, met with me for a consultation. The experience with her was comforting. Knowing she is a mother too, she was able to provide a more insightful understanding of my needs and needs of baby to be.
Her healing approach and calming demeanor put me at ease even more. Although she is encouraging, she is honest. No over the top flattery. She is genuinely kind and knowledgeable.
When my baby was born, she was right there. She stayed with me after recovery and during my postpartum care. I had a very traumatic recovery experience. If she was not there I would not have had a witness.
While at the hospital, she made sure I was safe. She called me, and text to make sure all was well. It was not too much, yet, enough for me to feel seen and heard.
Her bed side manners, and professionalism was exceptional. I can be particular and I was impressed by her passion for women and children rights.
She also, encouraged me to eat well, walk, and bond with baby.
I could write an entire 10 page booklet on my encounter in choosing her as my 1st doula.
